When I was a service manager, I used to tell my techs, "If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?" That's true of anything we do.

What is your favorite book in the Bible? I can't really say that I favor one book over all the others, but some of them seem to speak to me more than others. I can't say that my best devotions came from Leviticus.

If I need encouragement, I usually go to the Psalms. You possibly do the same.
I'd like to say I was named after David in the Bible, but I was actually named after David Lloyd George of British history. Biblical David had a beautiful way of putting words together, but his life was also an indication that he was very human, and thus He was very good at expressing concerns that parallel ours..

For many people, a favorite verse from the Psalms is 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me." That verse would be an excellent verse to quote as we start each new day. It would be nice to think that we are perfect and don't need it, but we need to quit deluding ourselves - we do need it!
